Access arrangements to view the interior of St Andrew’s Church

St Andrew’s Church stands isolated in fields away from the village and is currently in a poor state of repair. These conditions dictate the building has to remain locked for security and safety reasons.

Persons wishing to view the interior can do so by giving a minimum of 24 hours notice to a Local Keyholder who will also have to be present during the visit. Telephone numbers of Local Keyholders are:

  • (01487) 832011
  • (01487) 773600
  • (01487) 773429
St Andrew’s Church will NOT be open on Christmas morning this year.

How to get there

Visitors arriving in Cambridgeshire using the A1(M) should leave the motorway at exit 15 and follow the B1043 to the B1090. Follow this road towards St Ives for approximately two miles before turning off to Wood Walton at Monks Wood. After entering Wood Walton underneath the railway viaduct, take the left fork in the centre of the village and follow the road north for approximately one mile where you will see the church on the left hand side of the road.
